Why Do I need a Business Card?
Every now and then someone asks me why they should carry a business card? Now, the people that ask me this have a job, are in between jobs, just graduated from college, are in college or don’t have a job and don’t want a job. Everyone has their own opinion as to whether all of the people mentioned above should carry a business card or not but we here at Business Card Designs feel that everyone, no matter their job status, should carry a business card to help identify themselves.
A business card is vitally important for people in the business world today because they help identify you to potential employers, educators, or clients. If you don’t carry your resume with you everywhere you go then no one will be able to contact you or know your profession when they want to look up your information. The business card is like a mini resume because it has your name, contact information, website, profession and other information that helps others know a little bit about who you are.
It really doesn’t matter if you have a job or not, you should have business cards printed with your information on them just for the purpose of identification. This will make it easier when you meet someone new. Instead of writing down all of your information, if they ask for it, while the person is waiting, all you have to do is reach into your pocket and pull out your business card and hand it to them. Pretty simple isn’t it? Carry a business card with you. It makes a difference.
