Tis the Season for Stings: Exterminator’s Business Card
The air is thick with the heady scent of citronella candles and the summer season is the exterminator’s favorite time of year. The bug man or woman’s job is to investigate reports of bug investigations (whether they eat through your wood or sting your skin), determine a cause of action and then rid the site of the offending creatures. Bug exterminator’s work in both the domestic and corporate setting, as self employed individuals or as part of a larger company. The exterminator’s business card should be informative yet friendly.
Besides the usual contact information, the exterminator’s business card should spend some space explaining the scope of their business. For some people birds are pests, for others only ants and termites rate as pests. The exterminator’s business card should list at least the main pests they deal with as well as any special circumstances or creatures they cover. If you usually deal with hornet’s nests but also have someone on staff that has a knack with flying squirrels be sure to include this information. Standing out can make the difference between getting the job and getting passed over.
When it comes to the imagery for the exterminator’s business card there are a lot of different choices. A simple image of your most popular household pest may work best for your particular customer base. If you specialize in beehive removal, the choice of clip art is obvious. If you work for a larger corporation, a portrait photograph may be the way to go. Think about what works best with your particular business.
When it comes to choosing the color palette and font style for the exterminator’s business card it makes sense to go with established branding. Even if you are designing new cards for a new season of bug destruction, incorporating existing color schemes and fonts helps remind customers they are dealing with the same company, expresses a sense of longevity and keeps your established message current.
