The Mayor’s Business Card

As we have mentioned time and again in the past, everyone with a job or looking for a job should have a business card. The business card is somewhat of a miny resume that can help almost anyone obtain a new job or more clients. Everyone from an intern to the CEO of a major corporation should have a business card to represent themselves to prospective employers and prospective clients. Even the mayor of a small, or large, town needs their own business card.

A mayor is the head of the town, who represents the residents of that town, and helps to safeguard the town by hiring a police force and making sure that they enforce all of the laws. A mayor meets hundreds of people on a daily basis and should have business cards to hand to them for future reference. The mayor meets people from all walks of life; residents of the town, residents of neighboring towns, emergency personnel, mayors of other towns, assemlymen, senators, representatives, congressmen, businesspersons and many other people.

The mayor’s business card should contain his or her name, township email address, office phone number, township website and any other contact info that is appropriate for the card. On the card there should be a picture of the town’s city hall or municipal building along with the township’s flag and the state’s flag. This will make the card look interesting and grab the reader’s attention as soon as they are handed the business card from the mayor.
