Organization, Fun and Games: Activities Director Business Card

3658471420_82128d1fd2_mWhether it’s planning days out at the senior center or organizing afternoon games for 60 children, the activities director is a busy confident person. They are the one to go to with questions on plans, activities, equipment and health and safety issues. The activities director not only organizes the event but often plans the budget, applies for grants and promotes the organization. So of course they need an activities director business card.

The activities director business card should provide basic contact information, seasonal schedules, the experience and/or qualifications of the director as well as provide an overall idea of the type of activities the organization offers. The potential audience or receiver of the card should be a consideration in the design. A children’s activities director will be handing cards to parents and coaches not children.

Images on the activities director business card should include items or results associated with the actual activities. It could be sports, games, puzzles, bingo, exercise equipment or wine tasting clip art. A photograph of the activities room full of people involved in a task creates a lively image on any business card.

Choose colors that reflect the organization’s palette on the activities director business card. The card should reflect the events managed by the activities director. If the two work well in harmony that’s great if they don’t stick to the three color rule and determine which colors and tones are the most eye catching and compatible.

Use the back of the activities director business card to list seasonal schedules, activities on offer or a coupon for admission to events and activities. If there is room on the front for a detailed tag line or short bulleted list, this works well too. It’s about providing information and provoking interest.

Distribute the activities director business card at community centers, networking events, local gyms and swimming pools and of course on the front desk of the organization’s reception area. An activities director should always carry a handful of cards when meeting with new clients and potential customers.
