Mommy and Me: Playgroup Business Card
Playgroups are popping up all over the nation as people try to improve their local sense of community spirit. Providing social time for parents as well as children, playgroups work in community centers, within religion congregations and among members of charitable and service organizations. The playgroup business card is advertising flyer and information provider.
Be sure to make the playgroup business card as informative as possible. Include a contact telephone number, the location of the playgroup, the name of the organizer as well as the times the group takes place. This can be tag line information such as “Join us for fun each Wednesday afternoon” or written as a couple of bulleted points in the bottom half of the front of the card.
Use the reverse side of the playgroup business card to explain any policies, regulations or details of the playgroup. This is the area when you make it clear that parents should stay with their children, bring their own drinks and snacks, stay in the designated area and practice basic safety standards when working with play equipment and toys. This is an important section for the playgroup as parents need to understand the scope of the group.
Choose colorful clipart for your playgroup business card. A crisp white background and colorful images makes for a legible but attractive combination for a child based business card. Avoid images of toys if toys aren’t on offer. Choose the image that best compliments your own focus in the group such as social gathering.
Distribute the playgroup business card to members of your group and potential members. Leave a stack at the front desk of the community center and local health center. Give a few to area daycare directors and distribute some at the local playgrounds. This way you are sure to get the word out and attract a nice mix of parents and their children.
