Business Cards for Sports Agents
Sports agents really do not have too much trouble marketing their service to professional sports players, especially if they have been in the business for quite some time now or have high profile clients attached to them. But, no matter how popular a sports agent actually is, he or she still needs a business card to hand out to prospective clients and any other business associates he or she may come in contact with during the course of a day.
The business card for a sports agent could be printed very creatively, with a small list of the agent’s top clients printed on the backside of each business card to make them more attractive to prospective clients. The sports agent, if he or she works in a specific sport, can design their business card with objects found in their specific sports such as baseball equipment, football equipment, basketball equipment or hockey equipment.
A sports agent should hand out their business card to every athlete they meet, even if the athlete is working with another agent, to sports team management, to collegiate athletes (who are ready to go pro) and to current clients in case the card has been updated or the agent has moved his or her offices and has new contact information. Sports agents need to negotiate not only with sports players but also management of the player’s team. Why? Because the agent needs to acquire a contract, a contract extension, or request a trade for the player from the team.
