Business Cards for Bloggers
Really? Business cards for bloggers? Do bloggers need business cards? Aren’t their blogs technically their business cards? In a sense, a blogger’s blogs are his or her business cards, but it doesn’t hurt to actually have a physical business card to hand out. Bloggers need to meet as many other bloggers on the Internet as possible to jumpstart their career writing for a living on the Internet. Its who you know and not what you know when it comes to making a living on the Internet.
A business card for a career blogger, or even a part-time blogger, is one that can be printed in a very creative way. Bloggers sometimes design their own blog site while others use free blogging domains to blog their thoughts and use the design that is provided to them by the blogging host. If the blogger has designed their own site then they can print their business card to look like their website so it matches.
On the business card the blogger will print their name, their email address, their website, their blog site address and any other information they feel is pertinent for the public to know. The back of the card can be utilized by bloggers as well. On the back of the card a blogger might want to print some of their blogging services such as corporate blogging, what topics they blog about, what it costs to advertise on their blog and much more. Bloggers should hand out their business cards to other bloggers, business owners, and family members.
