Every time we turn around these days another business or technology innovation has taken place that leaves us all scrambling to order the latest doo dad, widget or wonder machine. The same thing occurs in the world of the business card. The options for business cards continue to increase. Here’s a rundown on some of the latest options
Classic-the traditional 3 by 5 inch business card remains a staple in the corporate business world. In fact rolodex addicts would cringe in fear of any sort of change in this area. But that’s okay. The classic card is wallet sized, index sized, expected, classy and easy to do again and again.
Plastic-One of the newer fashions in the business card world is the plastic transparent laser-printed business card. This is a nice look for some companies such as architects, graphic designers, advertisers and beauty services. Not for everyone but certainly an option.
Green-Recycled paper and soy inks are all the rage in these economically conservative times. Everyone wants to make a green statement and what better opportunity than when you hand out your business cards. Just be sure to get the recycled image on your business card so everyone recognizes your good deed.
Sticker-Adhesive business cards are great for people that service or sell products. They work great on the bottom of makeup containers or on the side of refrigerators. Sticker sheet business card are a good way to ensure no one forgets your important contact information and a great option for many.
Magnet-magnetic business cards offer a little weight to your professional handshake. Magnetic business cards are both contact information and promotional item. The fact that they are also practical is just a bonus.
Fold over-fold over or tent business cards are artistic, offer extra space and are the latest thing in business cards. These are great for those in the world of graphics, design, art or the self employed. The cost difference between fold over and traditional cards really isn’t that big.
