A Baker’s Business Card

Bakers are all around us today and are actually some of the most popular business people in the country because of the magic that they create in the oven. Bakers spend years attending culinary school and then either land a job with a bakery already in business, with their family’s bakery, or decide to open their own bakery where they live. Two of the most famous bakers today are Buddy Valastro of Carlo’s Bake Shop and Chef Duff of Charm City Cakes. These two bakers have television shows on TLC and the Food Network respectively.

Bakers, like all other people in the business world today need business cards to market their bakery to potential clients and employees. So, what can a baker do when it comes to designing a business card? The answer is simple; bake their business card for people to enjoy after reading it. Now, many people will eat the card prior to reading it but they will definitely ask where it came from once they taste its magical treasures.

Here is the idea for this business card: a baker should bake their most popular item from their bakery, print business information on it with icing, and hand them out to the public when they come into the bakery for their baked goods. So, this business card could be a muffin, a donut, a cupcake, a cookie or a canoli. It really doesn’t matter what type of pastry is used, just so the business info fits on the pastry. Not a bad idea huh? You will surely grab the public’s attention with this one.
